Catholic Identity Program Effectiveness Letter

Catholic Identity Program Effectiveness Survey Letter

November 10, 2016

Dear Parents and Guardians:

As part of the requirements for our national accreditation process with AdvancED, we are asking all parents, guardians, faculty, staff, and students to participate in a Catholic Identity Program Effectiveness Survey. In addition to meeting the accreditation requirements of AdvancED, the results of these surveys will be used to inform the strategic planning work of the Catholic Schools Office in the Archdiocese of Washington. It is important that the views of all stakeholders are considered as we plan for the next five years.

Since each school has unique URL addresses for their parents, staff and students, the results of the surveys will also be used at the local school level to guide ongoing school improvement efforts. While we know that our Catholic schools are some of the best in the country, we know that there is always room to grow.

The standards used to create the Catholic identity surveys and the surveys themselves were developed in collaboration with national Catholic leaders: bishops, superintendents, pastors, principals, and Catholic higher education scholars.
